APRIL’S PORN PICKS

ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION (2023)

Runtime: 22 Minutes
Directed by Poppy Sanchez
Main cast & Co-Writers: Ron Hades, Bishop Black
Producers: XO.ED Media Productions & Erika Lust Films

Erectile dysfunction, or ED for short, has always been at the root of many jokes, which creates stigma and shame around not only the experience but asking for help. Bishop Black and Ron Hades break down this stigma and talk about the dimensions of ED and what pleasure can look like if you are experiencing it. Bishop even shares his own experiences with ED and how it can be misinterpreted or how shame can reinforce toxic masculinity. Reshaping the idea around masculinity and pleasure having to equal a rock-hard erection. Toxic masculinity hurts everyone, setting the standard for penetrative sex as the ultimate goal. This episode tackles that norm and challenges the audience to shift their ideas around sex and penetration, making this a must watch. Especially for someone looking for examples on how to play without having to penetrate. Ron and Bishop take the experience part of this episode slowly, and prove once and for all you can still experience pleasure with or without an erection.
